Malta: Open call for project proposals under EMFF – Diversification and new forms of income

The Funds and Programmes Division (FPD), in its remit as Managing Authority of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund Operational Programme for Malta 2014-2020, is hereby announcing the launch of an open call for project proposals which seeks to support investments contributing to the diversification of the income of fishermen through the development of complementary activities, including investments on board, angling tourism, restaurants and environmental services related to fishing and educational activities concerning fishing.

Project proposals shall be received by hand and on the appropriate application form, at the Funds and Programmes Division, Triq il-Kukkanja Santa Venera, till 10:00 hours of Friday 24th of November 2017.


For further guidance, an Information Session for prospective applicants will be held on the following dates and times:


Date: Thursday 26th October 2017

Time: from 10:00 till 12:00 hrs

Venue: Xewkija Farm Hall, Gozo


Date: Tuesday 31st October 2017

Time: from 9:30 till 11:30 hrs

Venue: Marsaxlokk Parish Hall, Malta
